Abraham Elliott Werley!!!
Andrew was asked by a sweet church member who breeds Shih Tzu's this week if we would be interested in taking one of her puppies. Well, about 24 hrs. later this is what Daddy brought home! I really couldn't tell you who was more excited, Andrew or the kids. :)
Daddy put him in a box for the "big surprise" we were talking about with the kids all morning long.

Our new little puppy!!
This is a picture of one happy little boy! A-town had been asking for a dog for the past year at least. It was so much fun giving him the dream of a new puppy.
Audrey was excited too, at FIRST. Now we are working with her fear of all things dog. (We knew she was afraid of dogs, but THIS dog?? He is tiny!! She will get there (we hope!)
Ainsley: "Look! He has a blanket just like me!!" She is doing great with our new addition. :)

Austin and his new buddy are already having a blast! He does so great with Abraham and so far this sweet little thing is SUPER easy (we are talking WAY low-maintenance!!) I am really impressed! We decided to name him Abraham because well, we had to choose an 'A' name and we loved the irony of this a small dog with such a big name (Abraham is a huge biblical character), so it just fit. :) His middle name, Elliott is the last name of the sweet family who gave us Abraham so graciously (love you guys!:) Fun days ahead with this new little guy!! Thanks for reading!

awww!! he is so cute! but your kiddos are wayyyy cuter! they are SO BIG! i loved these photos of them awaiting their surprise. priceless. i wish we could do this. we will have to wait until jude outgrows his asthma a bit more. :) -lindsay
Awwww I love the pics your new camera is capturing!!! Such priceless memories, and I LOVE the one of Austin and Abraham w/ Andrew in the bk ground. They all came out so cute and the one of the puppy by himself is SOOOOO cute.
