...A 6 year old boy wanted a Star Wars Birthday Party!!

We had fun decorating the Warehouse youth building at our church Star Wars style!

We also had a lot of fun family and friends come and celebrate with us!

This little boy's cup was FULL by the end of the weekend! It was so fun celebrating our first born! I think it was a day he will never forget! :)

Austin is 6!!

Can't believe this boy is 6!! We had a great day (week) of celebrating our first born! The morning of his birthday started out with opening presents and then eating a yummy breakfast that Daddy cooked.

Then we headed to the Y and to the park for a fun time with some of our favorite friends!

The Birthday Night ended with Chuck E. Cheese (of course!)

It was a great fun-filled day!

We are so truly proud of this fun-loving, energetic and authentic little boy the Lord has given us!

Girl's Night!

I recently had a girl's night out celebrating a dear friend with some new friends the Lord has graciously provided here in Houston. It was such a fun night of great food and fun fellowship!

Happy Birthday, Megan! What would I do without you, my friend?! You have been a true gift to me and I am so thankful for you!

Happy New Year!

This year we started a new tradition (that I think we are definitely going to keep!) of heading to the coast to celebrate the new year as a family. We went to the Kemah Boardwalk for the first time and had such a great day! Kemah means 'Wind in the Face' and wow was it named correctly! So windy, but fun fun!

This was the first 'big kid' ride of the day for these two. Austin had to be convinced to get on and Audrey was excited. Funny how they are so different in that way. :)

Audrey HAD to have the 'little balls of ice cream', so we ended our time in Kemah eating Dip 'n Dots in the cold. :) It really was an awesome way to begin 2012!!
