It's SNOW much fun!!

We had so much fun enjoying the snow up here in North Dallas this past week. Snow was on the ground from Sunday until Friday (because it is so SO cold up here! I mean we practically are in Oklahoma and don't even get me started on how windy it is up here;). The kids love the snow and it definitely makes for some pretty landscape. The only problem is that they can only be out in it for 30 minutes at a time before they are asking if they can go back inside, so it made for a l-o-n-g week of lots of "inside" activities. I am so ready for spring!

You can't tell from this pic, but it is snowing in the background! It was so neat to walk out of Church on Sunday to snow falling all around us. And look how cute our girls look in their matching snowman outfits! (Thanks JG and Big T!:)

They were NOT in the mood for a photo shoot. They wanted to eat some lunch and then get outside!!

If you haven't heard Ainsley's scream, you at least get a picture of how loud it seems like it is from this. The girl has some LUNGS!!

All geared up and ready to go play! (I think Daddy was more excited than the kids!;)

Look at this sweet 5 year old face!

Abraham loved playing in the snow for the first time.

Bouncing Party

We told Austin when he was 3 that when he turned 5 he could have a bounce house party if that was what he still wanted. Well, because our oldest doesn't miss or forget a THING, when we started talking birthday this year it was no question in his mind we would have a bounce party for him. We were allowed to have 25 kids come and 25 kiddos it was! It was CRAZY, but Austin had the time of his life with some of his best buds.

His Cars themed birthday cake. (That yes, had black icing!! Sorry moms!;)

Ainsley got right to bouncing and had a blast playing with one of her favorite friends right now, Mr. Harrison. :)

He's not having fun AT ALL!

Such a cute pic of him trying to pose while his buds were jumping all around him. :)

As Daddy would say, "She is all tuckered out!" Look at that tongue!

Audrey had fun bouncing and playing with her friend Haley who she followed around the whole party. Audrey loves the 'big kids'.

Love this pick of Aunt Alisha, Peyton and Sophia!

Great pic of the birthday boy! I pretty much handed my camera to our Aunt Kristin and asked her to please take pictures. As always, she did a fabulous job! Thanks, Kristin!!

Priceless face! He probably went down the big slide 100 times...

Such sweet family and friends to be so giving!

Cake time!

Daddy and Mommy with the big birthday boy!

Singing...

Blowing out those 5 candles...

AND the black cupcake mustaches on our friends like Hudson that followed....

See, even my child got one. ;)

Presents!!

The day ended with an air hockey game with Daddy. It was a very fun and very easy party! Let's just say that all 5 of us slept well that night! We were pooped!! Austin asked on the way home."Mom, are you going to be sad when I turn 6?" Yes, son most definitely! ;) I can't wait though to see what the age 5 has in store for us!! Thanks for reading!

5th Birthday Fun!

Austin's birthday this year was a fun and busy day.

It started with cupcakes and presents from the rest of the A-Team.

Then we got to skype with Aunt Zuzu while she was sitting in her flat in Africa!! It was so fun that she got to watch Austin open up his gifts from her. Can't even begin to describe how thankful I am for the technology that allows us to see Zuzu's beautiful face every week at least once! Makes her feel not so far away.

The birthday boy posing for a pick with his Zuzu. LOVE it!!

This was the first year that Austin was at school all day on his birthday. It was so fun to surprise him and his classmates with cupcakes!

Sweet Audrey making the messed up cupcakes that totally fell to the floor of my car on the way out of the Sam's parking lot. Yes, on an already emotional day for this Mama, I cried.

Austin loves and I mean LOVES school. I couldn't be more happy about that...

None of the kiddos really even noticed that they were eating smashed cupcakes including the birthday boy, so it was all good. :)

What's a birthday without a trip to Chuck E. Cheese?? We ended the day with Austin choosing where to eat and this of course was his pick. We had a blast as a family despite the not so great pizza. ;)

This little girl can't wait for her 4th birthday and told me about it ALL.DAY.LONG!! Three more months, my sweetie!

Fun times with lots of laughter.

This little one was in heaven! Last time we went to Chuck E. Cheese she couldn't walk yet, so it was a whole new world to discover. She was all over the place all night long!

Talking to Papa and Grandma wishing him a happy birthday.

Dancing with Chuck E. Cheese the mouse himself. :)

Busy girl having a blast!

Happy, happy 5th Birthday to our sweet boy! You are one amazing kiddo!!
