Thankful Thursday - My Sister

The night before Ainsley was born

Aunt ZuZu with the girls

One of my favorite people in the world (and most of you know this) is my little sister. She is my very best friend, cheerleader, prayer warrior and the person outside of my husband that I rely on the most. She is "Aunt ZuZu" to my kiddos and they adore her. My sweet sis stayed with me in the hospital after having both of my girls (so that Andrew could keep some kind of normalcy with the kids at home) and then so unselfishly chose to stay and serve us after we came home for the following week. I always tell people that even though Suzanne is 3 years younger than me, she has always been more mature, spiritually and otherwise than me. She is one of the most wise, discerning and kind-hearted people I know and everyone who knows her loves her. She is loyal (sometimes too much so!) and she is an amazing friend to so many people. Her ministry right now is bigger than she is and the Lord is using her in many incredible ways. She always has the words to say right when you need to hear them and I love watching her chase after our Savior with all that she is. I want to be just like her when I grow up! :) I love you and I am so thankful for you, baby sis!

Thankful Thursday

I saw one of my friends post a Thankful Thursday a couple of weeks ago and I thought that would be a great thing for me to do. (Thanks, Lindsay!) I am so thankful for the many blessings the Lord has given me in my life, but the one I think I am the most thankful for is my incredible husband. I truly believe that he was created for me and that the Lord brought us together to accomplish His purposes. We have been together over 10 years now and as I look back over our relationship, I am amazed even more so about the man he is and that he is mine! Andrew is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. He is such a wonderful daddy to our kiddos and I love to watch him with them. He is an amazing shepherd of our church and spiritual leader of our family. He has a tremendous heart for people and their relationship with the Lord. He challenges me to know God more deeply and is always encouraging me in my role as mom. He helps me way more around the house than I think any man should by cooking and cleaning. (Austin loves to vacuum with his daddy!) He prioritizes his family over everything even though his job and calling demands so much of him all the time. He is the love of my life and I praise the Lord for the gift of him. I know that I am one lucky girl and I have enjoyed bragging on my husband. I know I don't do it often enough. I love you, babe!

Life just doesn't get any better than...

The proud big brother

Austin and Audrey playing choo-choo train

Audrey - 2 months

THIS!

Ainsley is 2 months old today and I can't believe it! Time is just flying by! Seriously, it feels just like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital! She is such a wonderful and easy baby. I guess you have to be in our family these days. Austin and Audrey love to be around her and they are so sweet when they try to comfort her by giving her kisses. Audrey has turned into our "little momma" and she gets so excited to help me when it comes to her little sister. The past two months have had their challenges like trying to nurse with 2 toddlers running around and keeping up the energy it takes to have 3 under 3, but like everyone says, it is so rewarding being a parent and we are truly blessed! Ainsley is officially sleeping through the night and she is getting really close to smiling. She is a joy! I am just trying to document as much as I can because I know that with life being so crazy right now, I am going to have a hard time remembering what happened and when it happened. It all goes by so fast...

I am officially a blogger!

This is my very first blog and I am excited because I know so many of our friends and family want to know what is going on around the Werley house these days besides changing a lot of diapers! (we are averaging about 15-20 a day!) I have had a lot of fun setting this page up and I hope to update it as much as I can with posts and pictures. We have had a wonderful summer with lots of outside time and of course introducing our new baby girl into the world. We love being a family of 5 and we are excited about this fall and about Ainsley starting to sleep through the night! (She slept from 9p.m.-5:30a.m. last night!) Here are some recent pics of our family.

Austin just got a new "big boy" bed that he absolutely loves!
