Christmas Parade

As so many people, December has been full of many fun activities. Our little North Dallas town has a Christmas parade every year and our Church always participates. This year I helped (a little bit) to put our little float together and it turned out so cute! Our children's Christmas program at Church was called 'Cookin' Up Christmas' (pics to come - it was Austin's 1st program to be a part of! :), so we did a kitchen theme for the float. AND for the 1st time ever a float from our Church won 3rd place! So fun! (Way to go Ashley and Susie!!) Here are some pics of the day:

It was FREEZING outside, but the girls were real troopers as we waited for Daddy and Austin to come by on the float. Andrew's parents were in town and we had such a great weekend with them. (Thanks also to Cora (Grandma) for staying up super late to help me paint the signs for the float. You are AMAZING!)

Grandpa trying to keep Ainsley entertained. She had a little bit of a cold and wasn't too happy about being outside.

Daddy and Austin on his first "float" ride. He had a blast, but was pretty cold. (BTW - look at my hubby chunking a piece of candy right at me! Thanks, babe! ;)

Our cute float with some of the sweet kiddos and parents from our Church.
This pic does not do justice to the cuteness of the float. ;)

Love that 'It's All About JESUS' sign! Good reminder for this time of year.

Grandma and Audrey. We love you, Grandma! Thanks for going to the parade with us!
