Progressive Dinner

The Women's Minitry of our Church had a first annual Progressive Dinner last weekend and it was such a wonderful night! It was a night filled with great food, fellowship and fun as we traveled around Anna to 4 different houses (with the main course at the Church). We had about 60 ladies traveling in two groups and at the dessert house (my home) all the ladies were together where we had a special time of caroling and sharing family Christmas traditions. Loved it! Thanks SO much to the incredible ladies on the Women's Ministry team who worked so hard to pull something like this off: Suzanne, Fawnda, Beverly and Darlene - Way to go, girls! We did it! Here are some pictures from the night:

1st stop - Appetizers!

2nd stop - Soup!

Me and Darlene - Love this girl!

Some lovely ladies mingling.

The soup was so yummy!

3rd stop - Salad!
All the ladies collected small gifts at each house including a fun Christmas CD (thanks, Louise!) and a recipe book filled with all the food we ate throughout the night. So fun!

4th Stop - Main Course at the Church.
The dinner was AMAZING!! Thanks Mrs. Judy!

Thanks to Mrs. Margaret for reading the Christmas story during the meal.

Last stop - Desserts! I don't know about the rest of the ladies who hosted, but it was a CRAZY couple of days getting my house decorated and "ready" for the event and Andrew and I have never cooked 4 different desserts for 60 people before! I seriously wouldn't have been able to pull it off without my incredible hubby. He was DEFINITELY the hero of the night (again ;)! Thanks, sweetie!

This sweet lady in red was the mastermind behind the event. Thanks so much, Suzanne for ALL you did in preparation for the night. You are an amazing woman! I am so thankful for you!

Mrs. Margaret leading all the ladies in carolling.
What a special time of singing praises to our King!

Thanks to Shelly for letting me steal your pics from the night! It was such a fun evening! Let's do it again next year!!
