Pine Cove 2012 Part 3

These 2 wonderful people poured into all the parents through out the week. We received so much wonderful biblical encouragement for our marriage and really enjoyed sitting at their feet and soaking in their knowledge about life and ministry. Thank you, Taylor's! You blessed us in so many ways!




Banana boat riding is one of our favorite events of the entire week. The older kiddos have so much fun!
















These are the amazing ladies I had the opportunity to hang out with all week long. Such encouragement and lots of laughter! Love you, friends!!








Lindsay and Dustin travelled from Delaware to be at camp this year!! Love them and their incredible hearts for the Lord and their precious family!




What more can I say about this girl?? Friends for life and so very honored to be her friend!




Buffalo Hunt! The behind story for this event is that Austin was DEAD SET on NOT participating in the buffalo hunt before we got to camp. So proud that he got in there and got a little dirty for the sake of fun times. (This kid really likes to be clean, so it was a giant leap for him!;)

Audrey and Kenzie with their counselor, 'Toes'. She was fantastic and the girls adored her!! I love it when godly young people love on my kids! One of the many reasons we keep coming back each year. You can't beat the ways our kids are poured into and loved on all week long!

Pine Cove 2012 Part 1

Pine Cove Family Camp exceeded our expectations again this year! We kept saying all week that it was our best year yet (4th summer to go). The kids are older and we all slept thought the night almost EVERY NIGHT (big change from when the kiddos were 3, 2 and 1!!), we loved the counselors this year, and we all felt like when we were there we were 'home'. I of course couldn't fit all the pictures from the week in one post, so there are probably 2 or 3 more coming. :)




Our car is packed and we are on the road! So excited!!




We made it to our cabin in the piney woods of Texas!




This girl doesn't wait long to dive into the giant sandbox!




Austin seems so big now as one of the older wild kids.

It was such a fun week with FRIENDS! This is Lindsay and we taught together way back when we lived in Katy. We found out just a few weeks before camp via Facebook that we were going to family camp the same week at the same camp! It was definitely a God thing and SO great to see her!




The Helm's are our camp buddies and best friends. They really are the Incredibles to our family!

The kids really do love dressing up and seeing their Mom and Dad be silly dressed up as well. It was a beginning to a fabulous and refreshing week!
