Turning 33

I had a wonderful birthday this year! My friends both old and new took me out to dinner and then to a fun chocolate bar (yes! everything is chocolate! my new fav!)


I can't even begin to explain his much these two ladies mean to me. Their friendship is a true gift from the Lord! I seriously WOULD NOT have made it through the last 5+ years of my life without them! I love you, Meg and Mandy and
Raise God for both of you!!


Mandy even made the trek down from Waco for the evening. Always so fun to see her!


Here we are at the Chocolate Bar. (Best chocolate cake EVER!) Each one of these women are a blessing to my life!


On my actual birthday the fam took me to Star Pizza to celebrate. So yummy and so fun! Love this stage of life!!

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter this year with our JVBC Church family. God has been so good to us and it is an honor to celebrate Jesus' life, His sacrifice for us and His resurrection.

Princess Tea Party

Audrey had her 5th Birthday party planned in her head all year long. She wanted a 'princess beauty tea party', so of course that is what she got for her special celebration day!

She was so excited to get dressed up and get her fingernails painted and make-up done!

Audrey is 5!!

Our little princess is 5 today! I can't believe it!

She is beautiful, animated, tenderhearted, thoughtful and a little mommy to everyone in our house!

She tells us all the time that when she grows up, she wants to be a mommy. She is going to be amazing!

About a month before her birthday, she began asking if she could get her ears pierced for her birthday. We told her that if she still wanted to do it by her birthday, she could. (TOTALLY thinking she would forget or we could talk her out of it before the day came. Which is also why we bought her the bike. :) Well, here she is about to get her ears pierced! ((She of course would let it go or be talked out of it!)

She definitely cried, but was so determined the tears didn't last long. Brave girl!

I am one proud Mom! I was an emotional wreck today! (Always get that way on birthdays. My baby girl is 5!! Time is flying!)

Law of LOVE

My friend Megan and I committed to go to all of Beth Moore's teaching series this winter/spring. A HUGE thank you to our wonderful husbands for giving us this much needed time of worship and teaching! Beth taught over the book of Deuteronomy  and to say it was an amazing and nourishing time doesn't even feel like it does those weeks justice. 

Loved the worship, being anonymous and great time with one of my very best friends!

This is an awful picture, but it was also so wonderful going with new and old friends throughout the weeks! The Lord truly spoke to my heart though this series and I am so thankful to have such an amazing resource in my town. Houston is finally starting to feel a little like home. :)
